What is Bearded Outdoors?
So the website has been live now for over a week so we thought we should let you know a little more about Bearded Outdoors ideas and its plans.
Bearded Outdoors is the brainchild of outdoorsman Joseph Eynon. He has spent his childhood and most of his adulthood either camping, cycling or hiking and now wishes to share his experiences with people. Previously Joseph edited the Air Monkeys online magazine but wanted a new challenge for 2017. And Bearded Outdoors was born.

The main aim for Bearded Outdoors is to inspire people so they can escape the cities and towns which keep them restrained and head out to the country to explore and clear their mind. With that goal we came up with the slogan Presume, Do, Create. Heres what we mean by that.
Presume
Every idea and every goal achieved in life comes from self belief. One would think that Assumption would fit better than Presumption but to assume is to believe without proof. Presume is to know the goal can be achieved.
This is because we have that much faith in each and every one of you. We know you can do it. Nothing is stopping you. If someone like Jamie Andrew has achieved such amazing things then you really have no choice!

Do
Now that you have the knowledge that you can get off your sofa, put the Xbox down or even just make the most of your weekends, then do it! With so much green space in the UK you really are missing out. Bearded Outdoors is based close to the Peak District so we are lucky but if you look at any map, whether it is an Ordnance Survey map or Google Maps on your phone you can find green spaces to explore near your house.
This is a challenge to everyone reading this. Find a spot of woodland, some local trails or footpaths and get out there. You will not be disappointed.

Create
Once you've stepped out your front door you are creating memories. Creating these precious memories is what its all about. Fine you'll get more interested in conservation and the wildlife but it is the memories you've created which will keep you wanting more fresh air, more green spaces, more mountains!
What we want is for people to realise there is so much more to Britain than its great cities. These are fantastic but we have the most stunning countryside and mountains that some countries are jealous of! Plus we can explore them with relative ease. Make the most of what you have and love every second of it!
